FAQs
We are using special motion picture technical fabrics from TRP Worldwide (The Rag Place). Especially Black/White Ultrabounce® and Magic Cloth®.
The AIRTUBE is build for maximum ~12 PSI/0,83 bar. The seams of the textile will start to tear apart, when exceeding the air pressure. Be careful when using an air compressor and always keep an eye on the air pressure when inflating. The transparent body can withstand a temperature of up to 212°F/100°C. Discoloration, deformation or even holes can then appear.
During our quality control we sort out bad materials. But maybe we simply have overlooked something. Just contact us and send us a picture. Furthermore it may happen that due to the production process there might be a crease or seam we cannot avoid.
We highly recommend to store the AIRTUBE gently rolled up on the cardboard roll and inside the protective sleeve to reduce kinks, wrinkles and containments.
Yes. Just contact us for more details.
The AIRTUBE is primarily intended for LED tubes, LED bars and very narrow LED panels from the film, show and TV industry. However, all types of light tubes, bars, panels and strips can be used, which can be securely fixed on the outside. You should pay attention to the fact that broken glass can damage the AIRTUBE when using Kinoflo lamps or normal fluorescent tubes and always be aware of overheating. In any case, you must not exceed the material limits of the AIRTUBE and you should always act with common sense.
Since the air valve of our AIRTUBE has a common inlet size ~0.68"/1,75cm you can use almost every air pump/blower already on the market. At the moment we do not offer a special air pump/blower.
Depending on the product, we offer separate parts for exchange.
When operating in a warm environment and using the spill light cover, overheating problems can occur. Just make sure there is enough space for some air circulation.
Use warm water and gentle soap for the white translucent Magic Cloth® and for the black Ultrabounce® please use a multi-purpose cleaner (e.g. Formula 409 Cleaner) or warm water with gentle soap. Also a microfaber cloth is always very useful.
